South Africa’s coach Mark Boucher has asserted that he remains committed to his job even as it was confirmed on Thursday that he would be facing charges for gross misconduct with regards to racism allegations. Boucher was among a number of former Proteas cricketers against who racism allegations were levelled.

South Africa’s legendary Wicket Keeper Mark Boucher has decided to retire from International Cricket with immediate effect. Boucher was originally a part of the South African Squad on their current tour of England.

The South African selectors have named their squad for their much-anticipated Test series against England starting next month. There aren’t any surprises in the selection, with the same members who helped the side conquer the Test series against New Zealand retained.

If all goes according to plan, the Test series against England would be Mark Boucher’s goodbye to international cricket after a 15-year long successful career. In the meantime though, the veteran South African cricketer has also stated that he would be happy to carry on till the tour of Australia, which begins in November, if the South African team management requires his services.
